4 Easy Ways to Get Your 15 Seconds of Fame

“Wake up, Sleepyhead….”

It’s early, and I’m ‘raring to go’.

Fortunately, as a SAHDad and internet entrepreneur, I have the luxury of working when no one needs me.  Often, I’m awake when you aren’t, no matter what time-zone you’re in……LOL.

As my esteemed business partner documented in the previous post, link-building is a crucial part of your site’s success.  Without it, you are like the captain of a rowboat in the South Pacific.  You are the ‘captain’ of your blog, but you are in the middle of the ocean with a pair of oars?

You have set-sail without a sail.  You have embarked on a mission without a plan. 

You need a flare; you need a rescue mission.  You need ‘internet publicity’.

Here’s a start:

(1) Reciprocal Linking

(2) Text Advertising

(3) Text Linking

(4) Article Writing

I have only scratched the surface by mentioning these previous 4 parts of publicity.  Remember, all you have to do is get desired attention.  Be creative.  If creativity is not your ‘cup of tea’, outsource it.  Regardless, some basic
formality to addressing these areas of publicity will increase your
traffic.

Just like a tiny candle can illuminate a ballroom, you too, can light-up the internet.  All it takes is a little creativity and a whole lot of persistence to get your 15 seconds of fame.  If William Hung and Sanjaya can do it, you can too!

And if you’re modest by nature and think this information is a little ‘brash’, consider what Dave Lakhani told me, Greg and a room full of internet gurus & marketers in Vegas last October: “if you don’t tell your story, who will?”
