Not Surfin’ USA, Rather Surfin’ ChaCha.com
January 12, 2007
Last night, I was surfing when I went to www.JackHumphey.com. Jack and Mark are doing an outstanding job with the RPM Institute and their products. In fact, this site uses their platform. Greg and I whole-hearted endorse it.
Well, Jack commented on using www.chacha.com. So, I went there to use their service. When the site opened, the left sidebar was already searching for a guide. I was online after midnight and someone live joined me to help. Through chatting, I told EdmondM what kind of site interested me. He had me wait a few moments. Then, one-at-a-time, URL’s and their descriptions popped up randomly. Between searches, he would ask for more keywords that would enhance the search. He came up with 4 sites.
Afterward, I evaluated the site, only answering one, customer service question. I like that. But, when I tried to go back to the previous page, the sites EdmondM found for me were lost. The left sidebar began another search for another guide. So, make sure you make a copy of the sites before moving to another page.
I enjoyed the experience. For one thing, it was FREE. That’s the best news. Also, the dedicated help was a nice touch. I was in the driver’s seat. I am curious as to how long it will last. I wanted to ask how they made money, but I didn’t.
The experience was worthwhile. I recommend it, especially for people who are not search-savvy, or lazy, like me.
