The Wales Rules
February 22, 2007
Web 2.0 is here to stay, for a while. Technology is moving so quickly, if you blink, Greg and I will be announcing 3.0 before you know it.
I have officially become a business/computer geek. Why? In my mailbox, I found my Business 2.0! I’ll be honest: it has great articles, but I just look at the pictures.
Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia.com, has defined “The Wales Rules for Web 2.0.” To know what Internet users want, he states:
(1) Be Proactive
(2) Be Transparent
(3) Be Frugal
(4) Be True to Your Brand
(5) Be Trusting
To get into the details of the article, pay the five bucks. It is a great magazine with great articles, always. It is worth a subscription.
