One Great Affiliate Marketer: Russell Brunson

One of the emerging stars on the Internet is one great affiliate marketer, Russell Brunson.  Have you heard of him?  You have now.  He’s featured in the Mar/Apr 2007 edition of $1,000,000 Blueprints magazine. 

What’s really a charge is that I bought the mag with someone else in mind.  Fred Rewey is the president of the American Cashflow Institute.  I met him in Atlanta, May ’06, at the American Cashflow Convention.  Since I met him, I wanted to read his story.  No offense, Russell.

Rewey is a nice-enough guy, but it has been Brunson who has made the impression on me.  It was two days later, March 26th, when I started receiving auto-responding emails from Brunson.  I had opt-in over the weekend.  Well, April 2nd marks the day that I put it all together…….I’m a little slow, I guess.

My magazine already had a pile of paper on top of it when the mag’s spine was poking out to the side.  Low-and-behold, there is Brunson’s face with the caption, “Russell Brunson: Millionaire College Student.”  I have hardly put the mag down since.

What I've found incredibly generous about Web 2.0 is the openness of those who are successful.  It is what makes “2” so great.  I realize that in many cases, some intellectual property is closely guarded.  I must write, though, much of the fundamentals of best business practices of the last 1000 years are being severely tested.  2 is giving the word, ‘proprietary’ a whole new meaning: if you are present, you have access to the knowledge, and the ability to contribute.
