Internet Marketing Question…

I have an Internet Marketing question to ask you and I would like your feedback.

Here’s my question: I have put together over 30 videos on how to set up wordpress blogs A to Z, and I will be adding new videos on a monthly basis. Should I set up the site like the Butterfly Marketing Script (not an affiliate link) or should I set it up like a community, where I offer free information and a couple of payment levels for more videos (igroops.com)?

I’ve been wrestling with this question for a month or so, which has prevented me to move forward and offer this great content. I have access to both and feel that both are probably good systems to release it with.

The biggest advantage of using Butterfly Marketing is the ability to have a One Time Only offer presented when somebody signs up. That function I like. It appears that igroops.com does not have that. I did send an email to the sales team at igroops to confirm this. If they do have it, I may end up setting up the site on this system.

The benefit with igroops.com is to really create a community of like minded folks and bring them together. It has a bunch of tools to help you do this and so I would create more of a soft sell.

So there is my dilemma…

Obviously, I want to get the biggest bang for my time. So I have been apprehensive to launch the product because fear of chossing the wrong platform. I know, this violates the rule of action. Hopefully you can understand my dilemma.

That is a dilemma. I think it really comes down to how much time you are willing to spend marketing, and working with a community if you decide to go the igroops direction. If you did a WP membership plugin it would be easier to just test the community type of thing…and see how it works. I think they both have their strong points….or you could do what many people do and create different packages and release it both ways. Sorry not feeling very decisive either.

I know it’s a little late to comment on this but I just can’t help it. It’s also one of the things that had kept me from venturing and acting immediately on my plans. having choices and the fear that i might choose the wrong one. One thing I learned from my experience is that you take the risk. There is no such things as sure win, I find that business is a gamble and every endeavor will require a risk to take. Anyway, if I get it wrong on the first try, I’ve learned my lesson and it’s not a total loss. You can always make a change if needed.
